This client sought a general contractor partner who would serve as a sounding board throughout the project, and a new home capable of accommodating her large blended family.  Located in West Seattle, the finished home includes ample bedrooms for the young family, and a one bedroom mother-in-law with separate entry.  High performance, durability, and quiet elegance became the project's touchstones, with MRA and Allied8 supporting decision making through performance metrics, cost evaluation, and priority alignment.  The client's support of a highly collaborative and team-centered process resulted in a successful build that incorporates in-floor radiant heat, super-insulated envelope, rooftop solar, and a green roof.
