French Creek Workshops

A building and its surroundings should be connected, and the holistic design concept should be a modern expression of craft, material, and place. This premise informed every decision from early design through project completion. Wittman Estes, the project’s architect and landscape architect, accommodated the owner’s desire for spaces for craft as well as extended family in a series of buildings knit to one another and to the surrounding landscape. To bring this vision to life, MRA assembled a talented and dedicated team of professionals. In addition to outstanding craft both inside and out, MRA integrated high performance building into the process to deliver a very low permeability building envelope and installation to resist the weather of the Pacific Northwest for decades to come.
