Full-Time Position
Compensation: $27/hr - $40/hr, Depending on Experience
$1000 Signing Bonus
Miovic Reinhardt Associates (MRA) is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team, specializing in custom high-end residential construction. You will play a key role in building and remodeling unique residential spaces with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. You’ll interpret blueprints, perform a variety of carpentry tasks, and collaborate closely with our team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsiblities
– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
– Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall to project specifications
– Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and molding
– Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
– Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or fixtures
– Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and supervisors to meet project timelines and budgets
– Operate a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
– Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site: properly handle materials, store tools, and secure site daily
– Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
– Report incidents and near misses as per company procedures
– Follow company policies and procedures to ensure quality workmanship and client satisfaction
– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
– Track and manage assigned work tasks and priorities
– Perform additional duties as assigned by site management
Skills/Qualifications
– Reliable smartphone for communication and time tracking required
– Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a carpenter specializing in high-end custom residential homes
– Broad experience across remodels, additions, and new custom home construction, including:
> Framing
> Finish carpentry
> Cabinetry installation
> Window and door installation
> Siding
> Decks
– Physical strength and stamina for demanding tasks and heavy lifting
– Proficient with a wide range of hand and power tools used in carpentry
– Ability to take direction and work both independently and collaboratively with a crew
– Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to support the team wherever needed
– Clear, respectful communication and proactive problem-solving skills
– Excellent attention to detail and consistent focus on safety and quality workmanship
– Professional, adaptable, and ready to take on a variety of tasks as project needs evolve
Signing bonus disbursed after 90 days of employment.
