Woodridge Mid-Century

This project exemplifies the playful potential of a full renovation to a Bellevue mid-century modern home. Wilkens Design Studio and the Clients invited MRA to collaborate on this project from early concept design through construction completion. Playful colors like mango and cerulean welcome you into this young family’s reimagined modern home.This project gracefully integrates modern kitchen, baths, and systems with appropriate attention to the original details and materials palette of the home. With one client a serious bicyclist, properly outfitting the garage for bicycle shop and storage also became project drivers. Custom cabinetry, finish details, and lighting accentuate the art that was curated by the clients. Indoor and outdoor spaces gracefully interact in this seriously playful project.
