Pleasure Point Waterfront (In Progress)
The power of place and a desire to adapt a 1928 home compelled MRA’s client to chart a path toward revisioning their property to enhance waterfront living. The owner’s architect and long-time sailing crew member established a gracious new front entry experience, expanded primary suite, and completely refreshed kitchen. With the property tucked between a private access road and the water’s edge, MRA worked carefully to prepare for and sequence construction activities to minimize disturbance while maintaining a demanding schedule. In line with MRA’s sustainability goals, the team worked diligently to optimize the existing building, and to divert 84% of construction waste for reuse.
